Assembly Speakers
All speakers at the 2006 Annual Academic Assembly have been independently selected by the Planning Committees. All speakers are required to disclose any real or apparent conflict of interest they may have as related to the content of their presentation(s). The existence of commercial or financial interests of speakers related to the subject matter of their presentation should not be construed as implying bias or decreasing the value of their presentation(s). However, disclosure should provide information to participants to form their own judgements.

Registration
Attendees are strongly urged to pre-register for the conference. Pre-registration ensures shorter registration lines and assists the staff to prepare name badges. Attendees may also register via fax or mail. Early registration fees are in effect until February 3.
Hotel Information
The Annual Academic Assembly will be held at the Westin Casuarina Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas. The hotel is located at 160 East Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89109. Reservations can be made by calling 866-837-4215. The room rate is $179 single/double. Make your reservations by January 30, 2006 and be sure to mention the conference or CORD in order to receive the discounted rate. Continuing Medical Education
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine, and the Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors. Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine, designates this educational activity for a maximum of 21.25 hours in category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spend in the educational activity.
Emergency Medicine Association of Residency Coordinators (EMARC)
EMARC will conduct a business meeting during the Assembly which will include committee reports, presentation of candidates for offices on the executive committee, and elections. There will be a presentation of a "Time Management Program" which will give participants an increased knowledge of organizational skills and prioritization of activities.
