The CORD Academic Assembly is the only annual conference specifically designed for educators in emergency medicine.  This year’s conference will be held March 3 through 5, 2011 in San Diego, CA; with pre-conference activities on Wednesday, March 2nd.  The theme of the conference is "Residency 2.0: Integrating Technology into Training."

Conference highlights will include:

  • Multiple curriculum tracks providing a range of topics specifically tailored to the needs and interests of Program Directors, Program Coordinators, Clerkship Directors, and EM Residents 
  • A mix of interactive didactic sessions, small group breakouts, expert panel discussions, and consensus working groups
  • Faculty development tools fundamental to academic success at any level
  • Opportunities for scholarship, networking, and socializing with friends, colleagues and education experts from around the country in a beautiful setting
  • Sessions on the new ACGME Resident Work Hours revisions
  • Peer-reviewed academic Research Forum, an opportunity for participants to showcase their research and educational innovations

CORD Academic Assembly is designed and developed by medical educators to serve the needs of its members, to providepractical and innovative information, and to anticipate future trends and challenges to emergency medicine residency training.
