Applicants must:

While applicants with prior Emergency Medicine training are preferred, we will consider highly qualified applicants from another specialty.  Applicants must have successfully completed a minimum of 1 year (ideally 2 years) of EM residency or be potentially eligible for 12 months of credit for training completed in another specialty; in accordance to the relevant ABEM policies.

For consideration applicants, should send:

  • CV
  • Cover letter
  • USMLE 1 and 2 scores at a minimum with Step 3 if available
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • A letter from current or former Program Director outlining their completed rotations and if a current resident, approval and release to seek a new residency.
