Efficacy of Training (PRAT) Taskforce

The purpose of this committee is to determine if graduating residents have attained proficiency in the ACGME General Competencies and to design and conduct research to answer this question.

Current Goals & Objectives:

  • Complete three year project of Program Director surveys, Graduate resident surveys and employer surveys and see if there is a correlation to evaluations and the ACGME milestone project.
  • Currently in year 2 of data collection

Current Projects:

  • Currently data gathering of graduates and employers so they may receive survey

Accomplishments:

  • Year 2/3 of data collection.  If successful, EM will be first subspecialty to validate milestones through resident, program and employer data
