The Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors Advances in Education Research and Innovations Forum will present a peer-reviewed selection of emergency medicine graduate and undergraduate educational research and innovations in both oral and poster formats at the 2015 CORD Academic Assembly. Emphasis is placed on novel research questions and designs. Innovation submissions included curricular designs, computer applications, faculty development, recruitment processes or similar topics.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine: Integrating Emergency Care with Population Health in a dedicated CORD Educational Issue in the Fall of 2015.
The 2015 National Emergency Medicine CPC Semi-Final Competition, co-sponsored by ACEP, CORD, EMRA and SAEM, will be held at the 2015 CORD Academic Assembly in Phoenix, Arizona. Ninety-two (92) EM residency programs submitted cases for consideration in the Preliminary Competition. Cases are currently being reviewed by the judges. Cases are judged on quality of the case,applicability to emergency medicine and solvability. Thirty (30) judges score the cases and select 72 of the best submissions for presentation in the Semi-Final Competition.
