eOral Software

Starting May 3, 2021 access to the eORAL software will no longer be available. On March 11, 2021, the CORD Board of Directors decided not to renew our service agreement with Maestro. Maestro is the company that developed and maintains the Mock eOral Software that CORD uses to display our cases that programs can use to train their residents for the ABEM eOral Boards.

What does this mean for you?
On May 3, 2021, the software will no longer be available to users.

What if I just paid for the year?
CORD will reimburse all programs that purchased or renewed their subscription starting October 1, 2020, though, March 11, 2021. Starting March 11th CORD did not accept any payments for new or renewing subscriptions.

Why did the Board decide not to renew?
This software's annual cost is $35,000/year, with less than 25% of the CORD membership utilizing the software. Also, ABEM will not be using this platform for exams this year. The Board has decided to reallocate these funds to support other initiatives that will benefit more of the membership.

Questions?

If you have any questions regarding this decision, please do not hesitate to email us at cord@cordem.org, and we will share your thoughts with our Executive Director and the Board of Directors. We have enjoyed our partnership with Maestro and look forward to bringing you more state-of-the-art software!
