Pik Mukherji MD Bio

Dr. Mukherji is the Residency Program Director in Emergency Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He has a passion for education as a force multiplier and is interested in decision making, getting better, and being wrong. He has been active in the development of Simulation scenarios, Cadaver lab skills training, Critical Care pathways, International EM, and all things Airway. He has lectured nationally and internationally on many core EM topics, written angry letters to the editor, and not yet been fired.  He spends most of his time explaining things to patients in a way that they can understand, and to residents in a way that they cannot. He often tries to convince doctors that it's impossible to Do No Harm, so they really need to minimize the killing.
