Reasons for wanting to join the CORD Board of Directors & Opinions and Priorities for the Board: I have a unique perspective on many topics relevant to the mission of CORD. I currently serve as the chair of the Diversity Oversight Committee for GME at UConn and as such am already involved in active acquisition of knowledge to advance initiatives important to residency programs. I am a long-time CORD member and feel I have much to add to the organization.

Special Skills, talents, and perspectives that you would like to share: As a Black female in Education and program leadership for emergency medicine which at last count numbered 16 I have rare insight and perspective on education, health disparities, and diversity.
