Current Title:Vice Chair of Education

Reasons for wanting to join the CORD Board of Directors & Opinions and Priorities for the Board:ACEP Council, on the SAEM Workforce Taskforce, and to the ACGME. Finally, I continue the work I started over a decade ago to help make CORD’s educational products as impactful as possible through with my work as liaison to CORD Academic Assembly as well as CORD/ACEP Teaching Fellowship. Two years went by quickly and there is much work yet to be done. I’d appreciate your vote so I can continue to do it.

Special Skills, talents, perspectives that you would like to share:I have a willingness to think outside of the box and explore new ideas. Where others might be concerned about perceived failure, I find opportunity.
As a member of the right team, this skillset can lead to innovation.

Knowledge or experience with large/complex organizations or other non-profits beyond CORD: The US military is about as large and complex an organization as you can find. My service in the military taught me a lot as I moved from the rank of Private First Class in the Army to Lt. Col in the Air Force. I am a member of multiple committees within our 3000 bed hospital as well as within Washington University in St. Louis.
