Qualifications: hold active CORD membership and have a strong desire to participate in the Academy, as demonstrated by a commitment to education and scholarship beyond minimum expectations in one of the four Academy Divisions: Teaching & Evaluation; Development of Enduring Materials; Educational Leadership; Educational Research.
Academy Scholar:
Qualifications: hold active CORD membership and have a strong desire to participate in the Academy, as demonstrated by a sustained (approximately 3 to 5 years) commitment to medical education and scholarship through a portfolio with evidence of high quality contributions in at least one of the four Academy Divisions: Teaching & Evaluation; Development of Enduring Materials; Educational Leadership; Educational Research.
Distinguished Educator:
Qualifications: hold active CORD membership and have a strong desire to participate in the Academy, as demonstrated by a sustained (approximately>5 years) commitment to medical education and scholarship through a portfolio with evidence of quality, quantity, and breadth of educational contributions in at least one of the four Academy Divisions: Teaching & Evaluation; Development of Enduring Materials; Educational Leadership; Educational Research.
Legacy Mentor:
Qualifications: hold active CORD membership and have at least 15 years of experience in education.
Membership Renewal
Requirements for renewal: must meet expectations, including significant participation in Academy events and meetings, must submit updated CV/portfolio, demonstrating commitment to education in a specific Academy Division.
