CORD will host an In Memoriam recognition to honor colleagues in emergency medicine who have passed away in the past year.

The CORD Academy for Scholarship in Education in Emergency Medicine is pleased to offer the Academy Award to outstanding educators who have met rigorous standards of academic excellence within the last five years.

Created to honor Dr. Louis Ling, this CORD scholarship is to go to a resident who demonstrates a strong interest in EM education and who also comes from an underrepresented background.

Created to honor CORD Founder, Dr. Judith Tintinalli, this is a scholarship for a faculty member with a strong interest in education who does not have CME money to obtain additional education by attending the CORD Academic Assembly.

Created to honor Dr. Marcus Martin, this is a CORD scholarship for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) for faculty members with significant contributions in these areas. 

The Scholarship will be awarded based on the potential impact the conference will have on the coordinator as an active leader in their program and within CORD.

Created to honor the legacy of Dr. Salvatore Silvestri. 

Given to Emergency Medicine Program Coordinators in recognition of their role in the management and success of a residency and or fellowship program and to recognize them for their dedication to the support of their program, residents, fellows, and emergency medicine.

This award is intended to recognize an emergency medicine resident who has demonstrated great potential as a future academic faculty member. 

This award is intended to recognize contributions of a junior faculty member to the education of emergency medicine residents.
