COVID's Educational Impact Task Force

Current Chair: Melissa Platt, MD

Vice-Chair: TBD

Board Liaison: Tiffany Murano, MD

The COVID pandemic has had an impact on all aspects of emergency medicine residency training; yet, it has not been fully examined.  This task force will detail the changes to EM training since the COVID pandemic began with a special focus on the virtual synchronous didactic format.  The task force will involve key stakeholders to fully understand the influence of the novel modified instruction to all involved, and will also include the use of already available objective measures to further assess impact. Finally, we will report aspects of new learning models that may be brought forward and integrated into a future educational model.
