ACGME CPR COMMENT PERIOD NOW OPEN!

In March 2019, CORD made a public stance on the ACGME's changes to the Certified Program Requirements which can be read here.

On July 23, 2019, an additional email titled Joint Policy Statement on Compensated Time for Core Faculty was sent out once again focusing on our stance on this issue.

Today, the ACGME has opened up the floor to public review and comment. It must be noted that these are considered "focused" revisions "For specialty/subspecialty requirements, Review Committees are not permitted to alter Common Program Requirement language, which appears in bold font. Therefore, comments are invited only on requirements, not in bold font."

We ask that you take a moment to participate in this open callspecifically, Page 10 of 66, Section II.A.2.a) The sponsoring institution and participating sites must provide salary support or protected time for each associate program director

You will have until September 25, 2019, to make any comments.
