Participate in the
EM Day of Service

As emergency physicians we are servant leaders in our communities. We care and advocate for our patients while working clinically. We also respond to the call to give back to the communities we serve. The EM Day of Service was created with this essential concept in mind. The EM Day of Service is a specialty-driven event where emergency care providers identify community needs and volunteer to address those needs.

CORD is participating in this years EM Day of Service, to learn more about this initiative and register at no charge.

Once registered, the contact person receives a reply email that includes the following elements:

• EM Day of Service logos -  Create own t-shirts, banners, collateral material!
• A fill-in-the-blank press release – Save this press release and add local information and details.  Send your press release to university/hospital/community media to share community service efforts
• A fill-in-the-blank flier –Save this flier, add details and copy.  Distribute at meetings,  in lounges, etc. to get the word out and help recruit volunteers!
• A social media graphic - Post your volunteer efforts on social media with the hashtag, #emdayofservice. We’re interested  to see your projects and  so will your emergency medicine colleagues! It’s the fastest and most efficient way to build momentum for this exciting new campaign!
