Organization of Resident Representatives

The Council of Residency Directors in Emergency Medicine is one of the eligible members of the AAMC's Council of Faculty and Academic Societies invited to appoint two residents to serve in the Organization of Resident Representatives (ORR) as part of its member benefit.

Appointed residents are asked to bring the specialty perspective of fellow resident trainees to the deliberations of the ORR and are not explicitly expected to represent policy positions of the appointing society.

All travel and meeting related expenses associated with conference attendance at Learn Serve Lead: The AAMC Annual Meeting and the spring professional development conference are fully funded by the AAMC, so that neither CORD nor the resident's program will incur these costs.

All CORD resident member representatives are eligible for nomination. Nominated residents are reviewed and scored by the Board of Directors. No two residents may be appointed from the same residency training program at the same time.

The deadline for nominations is June 3, 2019, at 5:00 PM Eastern
