Purpose: The EMARC Planning Committee is a sub-committee of the CORD Academic Assembly that develops the Coordinator section of CORD’s annual meeting; focusing on topics of professional development, advancement of knowledge and expertise, and educational opportunities shared amongst members.
Goals/Objectives:
- Develop the Emergency Medicine Residency Coordinator section of the CORD Academic Assembly Annual Meeting (3 day conference).
- Review previous years evaluations and use them to develop and enhance the upcoming conference.
- Actively work with session speakers to facilitate and collect goals and objectives, session titles, and any other requirements that are needed ahead of time.
- Meet in person with the Academic Assembly Program Committee twice throughout the year (Academic Assembly & ACEP meeting).
- Meet in person (Chair & JR Chair) of EMARC track during the CORD AA conference and have constant communication throughout the year via phone calls and emails.
- Provide EMARC Chair and Co-Chair with periodic (every other month) updates on progress.

- Recognizing a Resident in Distress session for 2019

- 2018 started break out sessions geared toward Clerkship Coordinators
