ACGME Proposed Common Program Requirements

Dear CORD Members,

The ACGME is currently seeking public comment on proposed revisions to the Common Program Requirements (CPRs). These proposed changes are separate from the recently approved Emergency Medicine Program Requirements that will take effect in 2028 and could have implications for EM residency training. To help our members understand the proposed changes, CORD has developed the attached infographic comparing selected current EM requirements with the proposed CPRs and highlighting areas of potential impact for our specialty.  The infographic is not intended to capture all of the proposed changes and we encourage members to review the full proposed Common Program Requirements.
