Overarching goal: Didactics & workshops to help redefine and reaffirm DEI in our current climate and share strategies to continue advancing DEI in our communities
Objectives: By the end of this virtual conference, participants will be able to:
- Utilize evidence-based practices to promote DEI in graduate medical education
- Understand the current climate surrounding DEI in national politics and medical education
- Develop a strategy for navigating barriers to advancement of DEI initiatives
- Identify and implement physical and virtual spaces that reflect an inclusive environment for learners
- Create actionable steps to move towards reflecting their program’s commitment to belonging and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
